Who we are
TASMAN FREIGHT QLD PTY LTD (ABN 86 670 406 372) is a refrigerated freight carrier founded in 2014 and based at 12 Barnett Pl, Molendinar QLD 4214. We run a fleet of refrigerated and ambient linehaul trucks between the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, six days a week. Every load ships under a cold-chain workflow, with continuous temperature logging from pickup to delivery and a signed proof of delivery returned to the customer. Our operations are NHVR-compliant and we have recorded zero cold-chain breaches since founding. We move temperature-controlled cargo from -20°C to +4°C — seafood, dairy, produce, pharmaceutical and pallet freight — for wholesalers, retailers and charter clients across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

What is the difference between refrigerated freight and standard freight in Queensland?
Refrigerated freight uses temperature-controlled vehicles that maintain 0–4°C for chilled goods or below -18°C for frozen cargo. Standard freight has no temperature control. In Queensland’s climate, unrefrigerated transport can spoil seafood, fresh produce and pharmaceuticals within hours. Tasman Freight QLD operates purpose-built reefer vehicles across South-East Queensland.
How do I book refrigerated freight from Brisbane to the Gold Coast?

Can you transport mixed loads of seafood and fresh produce together?
Yes. Tasman Freight QLD runs multi-temperature reefer trailers with bulkhead partitions, so seafood at -1°C and fresh produce at 4°C travel in the same vehicle without cross-contamination. Each compartment has its own continuous temperature logger.
What temperature ranges can Tasman Freight maintain?
Our reefer fleet holds chilled loads at 0–4°C, fresh seafood at -1 to 1°C, and frozen cargo below -18°C. Every trailer has a calibrated continuous temperature logger. You receive a downloadable temperature trace alongside the signed POD for every delivery.
Do I get a proof of delivery and temperature log for every load?
Yes. Every delivery is signed on a driver device and returned as a POD PDF within minutes of drop-off. The full trailer temperature trace for the haul is attached automatically. Customers view and download both from the Tasman Freight portal the moment dispatch marks the job complete.
